John O'Conor's Beethoven Bootcamp

Broadcast on RTE 1 on Tuesday 17th February 2009, John O'Conor's Beethoven Bootcamp received welcome reviews from the weekend press. The Sunday Business Post called it “.....a good, unusual, well-observed film full of erudition and blinding talent”, and commented "though they were in Positano on Italy’s glorious Amalfi coast, it was a dragon’s den of a sort, tough and uncompromising". While the Irish Independent noted "the film radiated as much warmth and optimism as the blue skies outside the villas windows and .... showed O’Conor to be a teacher with considerable insights and an effortlessly gifted and playful communicator", and called the documentary a "winning film".
